Ginger (Virgina) Paque was born in the United States, but has lived in Venezuela for the past 30 years. An educator and administrator by profession, she has 25 years experience in business and manufacturing systems consulting. Currently, she is Internet Governance Capacity Building Programme Coordinator for DiploFoundation and co-coordinator of the Internet Governance Caucus. She is an active member of the IGF Remote Participation Steering Committee and an advisory board member of the United Nations Association of Venezuela. Her interest in IG began as the Venezuelan member of the World Federation of United Nations Associations Task Force on WSIS. Areas of particular interest are remote participation for international events, Spanish language online educational projects and the research and monitoring of e-voting as a controversial but inevitable development.
