Dr. Zafar Iqbal is working as Secretary (IT) in MoIT and dealing with IT initiatives and their development and execution in Federal Ministries/Divisions/Departments including Internet Governance in Pakistan. Internet is one of the vital sources of ICT and IGF is working on policy issues related to key elements of Internet governance in order to foster the sustainability, robustness, security, stability and development of the Internet and interface with appropriate inter-governmental organizations and other institutions on matters under their purview. Keeping in view of the above, this Ministry’s representation in Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) of IGF will be useful for the country.
